PEDRO MAIA é Artista Plástico, Investigador e Professor Auxiliar (2010) com nomeação definitiva (2016) do Departamento de Desenho da FBAUP. Leciona no Ensino Superior na área disciplinar de Desenho desde 1989 em diferentes ciclos de estudo, tendo lecionado nos cursos de Ilustração, Animação, Artes Plásticas, Arquitetura e Design de Comunicação. Ao abrigo do protocolo de cooperação entre a UP e a Universidade Lusófona é, desde 2012, professor Associado Convidado e Coordenador da Área Científica de Desenho do Mestrado Integrado em Arquitetura da Universidade Lusófona e, desde 2021, Membro Integrado do Arq.ID. Expõe o seu trabalho artístico desde 1984 e está representado em coleções públicas e privadas em Portugal e no estrangeiro. PEDRO MAIA is a visual Artist, Researcher and Assistant Professor (2010) with definitive appointment (2016) of the Drawing Department of FBAUP. He has been teaching in Higher Education in the field of Drawing since 1989 in different cycles of study, having taught courses in Illustration, Animation, Fine Arts, Architecture and Communication Design. Under the cooperation protocol between University of Porto and Lusófona University, since 2012, he is a Guest Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Drawing Department in the Integrated Master in Architecture of the Lusófona University and, since 2021, an Integrated Member of Arq.ID. PEDRO LEÃO NETO é investigador e professor na FAUP desde 2007 na área de Comunicação de Arquitetura e Fotografia, sendo o regente dos cursos “Fotografia e Comunicação de Projeto de Arquitetura” (CAAD) e “Fotografia de Arquitetura, Cidade e Território” (FACT). É coordenador do grupo de investigação Arquitetura, Arte e Imagem (AAI) integrado no centro de I&D da FAUP, diretor da associação cultural Cityscopio e fundador e coordenador editorial da scopio Editions e da sua plataforma aberta scopionetwork. A scopio Editions é um projeto editorial orientado para o universo AAI e muito ligado à academia e à investigação sobre Fotografia Contemporânea relacionada com Arquitetura, Cidade e Território. Foi curador de várias exposições de fotografia de arquitetura em Portugal e no estrangeiro, workshops, debates e seminários internacionais em torno do universo da Arquitetura, Arte e Imagem, tendo comissariado 8 conferências Internacionais com revisão de artigos por pares e atas publicadas. Destaca-se a 5th International Conference On the Surface: Photography on Architecture – Visual Spaces of Change, unveiling the publicness of urban space, cuja edição teve lugar no Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia (MAAT), Lisboa (2018) sob a forma de conferências internacionais anuais da revista científica indexada Sophia Journal. É autor e editor de mais de 40 livros, entre os quais se destacam Pedro Gadanho – Paolo Rosselli – A Talk on Architecture in Photography: Photographs by Paolo Rosselli (2018) e CONTRAST II: A Fotografia no Ensino Superior (2022); Investigador Responsável (IR) de vários projetos nacionais e internacionais financiados por fundações públicas como a DGartes e FCT, sendo atualmente um investigador ligado ao projeto SizaATLAS. PEDRO LEÃO NETO is a researcher and professor at FAUP since 2007 in the field of Architecture Communication and Photography, serving as the coordinator of the courses “Photography and Communication of Architectural Design” (CAAD) and “Architecture Photography, City, and Territory” (FACT). He is the coordinator of the Architecture, Art, and Image research group (AAI) integrated into the FAUP R&D center, director of the cultural association Cityscopio, and founder and editorial coordinator of scopio Editions and its open platform scopionetwork. Scopio Editions is an editorial project focused on the AAI universe and closely linked to academia and research on Contemporary Photography related to Architecture, City, and Territory. He has curated several architecture photography exhibitions in Portugal and abroad, workshops, debates, and international seminars around the universe of Architecture, Art, and Image, having curated 8 International Conferences with peer-reviewed papers and published proceedings. Notable among them is the 5th International Conference On the Surface: Photography on Architecture – Visual Spaces of Change, unveiling the publicness of urban space, whose edition took place at the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (MAAT), Lisbon (2018) in the form of annual international conferences of the indexed scientific journal Sophia Journal. NUNO SOUSA é artista plástico, músico e professor auxiliar convidado em diferentes instituições de ensino (actualmente na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto e na Escola de Arquitetura, Arte e Design da Universidade do Minho). Lecciona no Ensino Superior desde 2009, em diferentes ciclos de estudo (Licenciatura e Mestrado) em diversas áreas disciplinares (Desenho, Ilustração e animação, Banda Desenhada). Co-fundador do projecto Clube de Desenho, através do qual desenvolve actividades relacionadas com o Desenho: dinamização de cursos livres, curadoria de exposições, encontros e conversas com artistas e pedagogos. Doutorado em Educação Artística pela FBAUP, com a tese “Imagens em Falta – Desenho, Narrativa Gráfica e o Trabalho da Memória” (2017). Mestre em Ensino das Artes Visuais pela FBAUP/FPCEUP, com a tese “Fazer Acontecer – Construção de um não-método de aprendizagem” (2010). Licenciado em Artes Plásticas – Escultura pela FBAUP (2006).
NUNO SOUSA is an artist, musician and guest assistant professor at different educational institutions (currently at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and at the School of Architecture, Art and Design of the University of Minho). He has been teaching in Higher Education since 2009, in different study cycles (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree) in various disciplinary areas (Drawing, Illustration and animation, Comics). Co-founder of the Drawing Club Project in Porto, through which he develops activities related to Drawing: promotion of free courses, curation of exhibitions, meetings and conversations with artists and Pedagouges. PhD in Art Education by FBAUP, with the thesis “Missing Images – Drawing, Graphic Narrative and the Work of Memory” (2017). Master in Visual Arts Teaching by FBAUP/ FPCEUP, with the thesis “Making Happen – Construction of a non-learning method” (2010). Degree in Fine Arts – Sculpture by FBAUP (2006).
